Preserving a Leadership Legacy
Darryl Clifton was the Scoutmaster of Boy Scout Troop 56 in Indianapolis, Indiana. The Darryl Clifton Memorial Fund For Troop 56, Inc. honors his memory and preserves the leadership legacy of its beloved Scoutmaster. The Fund's predominate purpose is to maintain Troop 56's "boy-led/adult-guided" organizational culture and authentic inclusivity by providing financial support for adult leader training at National Training Centers. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and all donations are tax deductible to the full extent of the law.

Troop 56

Troop 56 is one of the leading Scout Troops in Central Indiana. It was founded circa 1916 and has well over 160 Eagle Scouts since 1960, when its historical records began. Darryl Clifton served as the Scoutmaster of Troop 56 from 1986 until his untimely passing in 2012. We strongly encourage anyone in Central Indiana interested in joining Boy Scouts to visit t56.org, and those located elsewhere to visit scouting.org.
